This list will change quite a bit over time as beers come and go but I thought I'd post version 1.0 now and update it every couple months. So, without further ado I present to you, in no particular order whatsoever, the 10 beers that I love most (right now) here in Maine.
- Coal Porter ~ Atlantic Brewing Company (Bar Harbor)
- Autumn Ale ~ Geary's Brewing Company (Portland)
- Damariscotta Double Brown ~ Sheepscot Valley (Whitefield)
- Dubbel ~ Allagash Brewing Company (Portland)
- Cadillac Mountain Stout ~ Bar Harbor Brewing Company
- St. Nick's Porter ~ Andrew's Brewing Company (Lincolnville)
- Brother Adam's Honey Bragget ~ Atlantic Brewing Co. (BH)
- Prelude Ale ~ Shipyard Brewery (Portland)
- Mt. Olympus Special Ale ~ Bray's Brewpub (Naples)
- Full Throttle Double IPA ~ Sebago Brewing Company (Portland)

Hmm...I would have gone with Allagash's tripel or quad over the dubbel, unless you meant the dubbel reserve. Geary's London Porter is also excellent, though I've not tried Coal, so that may be better. Beyond that, a great list.
Oh, one other thing...Prelude is good, but you should look for the Shipyard Old Thumper this summer. The Inn at Peak's Island has it on cask, and it's simply wonderful. I've taken the ferry out a couple times just for that beer.
I couldn't agree more...the Old Thumper is the closest US beer that you'll see to the classic English ale. But c'mon dude, where's the love for Geary's? Even though the bottle caps rip your hands apart, it's my No. 1 Maine beer, as far as overall drinkability. Not sure if that's a word, but it gets the point across. And the Shipyard Export Ale is a fave as well. Maybe I just like the straightforward ales more than the fancy stuff.
Its true, I did leave out Geary's. I do love their Autumn and HSA, they are both great. They also do a excellent brewery tour if you ever get the chance to go.
@jamie,
I mentioned Geary's London Porter in my comment, but you're right, their HSA is also very good. And, uh, they make bottle openers for a reason. :-)
