The Great State of Maine Beer Book by beer author Will Anderson was published in 1996 but nonetheless it offers a timeless look at the history of beer and brewing in the Pine Tree State.
Maine has a unique brewing history as prohibition happened here first. The temperance movement was alive and well here in Maine very early on.
Anderson's book takes a look at Maine's brewing history from the beginning straight through to the craft beer scene back in 1996.
